On Tuesday, February 16th at 6:30 David Newhall will present a talk “Building I-89: Montpelier to Waterbury” at The Gardens in Williamstown.
Mr. Newhall will present a narrated video of 200 of his photographs documenting the construction of I-89 between Montpelier and Waterbury discussing the changes it brought to Vermont’s landscape. An open discussion will follow providing an opportunity for audience members to share their remembrances of the construction of the Vermont Highway System.
Please join us on Tuesday, February 16th at 6:30 for the Building of I-89 in the Community Room at The Gardens in Williamstown, 2844 Vt. Rte. 14 (Main Street), Williamstown. Presented by the Williamstown Historical Society, The Gardens and the Ainsworth Public Library. This program is free and open to the public. Refreshments will be served.
